A plain guide to what the app stores show about the FxPro app, FxPro cTrader, MetaTrader 4 and 5 and cTrader in Kenya.
This site reads the public Google Play and App Store pages of the FxPro app, FxPro cTrader, MetaTrader 4 and 5 and cTrader, as a visitor who is not logged in sees them in Kenya, and writes down what is there: who the page names as developer, the rating and the number of ratings behind it, the version and its date, the size, the system required and what the developer declared about data. Every figure carries the day it was read, 6 November 2026. It opens no account and logs in nowhere, and it does not say which app is better.
Start with the developer name under the title and the identifier behind it.
An average without the number of ratings under it says little.
Both stores print a declaration about data. Read it before the install, not after.

What this site is, and what it leaves alone
Kenya Trade Apps is a record of what the public app-store pages show for the FxPro app, FxPro cTrader, MetaTrader 4 and 5 and cTrader, as a visitor who is not logged in sees them in Kenya. On 6 November 2026 this desk opened 6 Google Play pages and 4 App Store pages and wrote down who the page names as developer, the rating with the number of ratings behind it, the version and the day it was published, the size, the system it needs, what the description says and what the developer declared about data. The Google Play pages were read in the Kenya view (country code KE, English text) and the App Store in the Kenya storefront.
Nothing here comes from inside an app. The desk did not create an account, did not enter a document or a phone number, did not log in anywhere and did not place an order. The site therefore cannot tell you what a screen inside the app looks like, how long an identity check takes or what a transfer costs: those things sit behind a login, and the pages that follow say so wherever the question comes up. What it can do is show you, with a date, the part of each app that is public.

Who is named as the publisher
The listings do not all name one developer. FXPRO GROUP LIMITED is named on FxPro: Trading & Investing (Google Play) and FxPro cTrader (Google Play). Pro Global Ltd is named on FxPro Global: Trading Broker (Google Play). FxPro Group Limited is named on FxPro cTrader (App Store). MetaQuotes Software Corp. is named on MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play), MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play), MetaTrader 4 (App Store) and MetaTrader 5 (App Store). Spotware is named on cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play). cTrader Ltd is named on cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store). That is the field under each title: on Google Play the account that published the app, on the App Store the seller. The Play pages also attach links. For the developer website, FxPro: Trading & Investing points to fxpro.investments, FxPro Global: Trading Broker points to probroker.financial, FxPro cTrader points to fxpro.com, MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading points to metaquotes.net, MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks points to metaquotes.net and cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts points to ctrader.com; each page also gives a privacy-policy link on fxpro.com, metaquotes.net and spotware.com. The word FxPro appears in the descriptions 9 times in FxPro: Trading & Investing, 12 times in FxPro Global: Trading Broker, 11 times in FxPro cTrader, 11 times in FxPro cTrader, 0 times in MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading, 0 times in MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks, 0 times in MetaTrader 4, 0 times in MetaTrader 5, once in cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts and once in cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts.
FxPro's own public text file, www.fxpro.com/llms.txt, read on 6 November 2026, names three regulated entities: FxPro UK Limited, FxPro Financial Services Limited and FxPro Global Markets Limited. The same file lists the platforms FxPro supports; of them it names MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5) and cTrader. A developer name on a store page is the name under which the app is distributed in that store. It is not a licence and not a statement about which firm holds a client's money; the account documents answer that, the store page does not.
Ratings: the average and the count under it
FxPro: Trading & Investing on Google Play: 4.5 in the header from 104,041 ratings; 79,349 of the ratings in the split are five-star (76%) and 5,448 one-star (5%). FxPro Global: Trading Broker on Google Play shows no star rating in this country view; its page gives only a download bracket, 100K+, and the label Rated for 18+. FxPro cTrader on Google Play: 4.4 in the header from 3,217 ratings; 1,994 of the ratings in the split are five-star (63%) and 64 one-star (2%). FxPro cTrader on the App Store: 3.7 from 3 ratings; 2 five-star (67%) and 1 one-star (33%). MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading on Google Play: 4.6 in the header from 1,024,688 ratings; 759,515 of the ratings in the split are five-star (74%) and 32,926 one-star (3%). MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks on Google Play: 4.7 in the header from 1,234,015 ratings; 981,367 of the ratings in the split are five-star (80%) and 19,311 one-star (2%). MetaTrader 4 on the App Store: 4.7 from 1,371 ratings; 1,140 five-star (83%) and 20 one-star (1%). MetaTrader 5 on the App Store: 4.8 from 5,410 ratings; 4,726 five-star (87%) and 74 one-star (1%). cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on Google Play: 4.6 in the header from 29,856 ratings; 22,392 of the ratings in the split are five-star (75%) and 861 one-star (3%). cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on the App Store: 4.7 from 121 ratings; 103 five-star (85%) and 3 one-star (2%).
The count under an average decides how firm it is. FxPro cTrader (App Store) rests on 3 ratings, so one more five-star or one-star rating moves its average by at most 1.6667 of a star; MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) rests on 1,234,015, where the same single rating moves it by at most 0.0000041. That is arithmetic, not a view on either app.
How recently each page was updated
FxPro: Trading & Investing (Google Play) shows version 4.104.0, updated 5 November 2026, 1 day before the reading; FxPro Global: Trading Broker (Google Play) shows version 4.104.0, updated 5 November 2026, 1 day before the reading; FxPro cTrader (Google Play) shows version 5.11.130, updated 4 November 2026, 2 days before the reading; FxPro cTrader (App Store) shows version 5.11.130, updated 4 November 2026, 2 days before the reading; MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play) shows version 400.1493, updated 27 October 2026, 10 days before the reading; MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) shows version 500.6260, updated 8 October 2026, 29 days before the reading; MetaTrader 4 (App Store) shows version 4.0.1478, updated 28 August 2026, 70 days before the reading; MetaTrader 5 (App Store) shows version 5.0.6290, updated 2 November 2026, 4 days before the reading; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play) shows version 5.11.140, updated 2 November 2026, 4 days before the reading; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store) shows version 5.11.150, updated 3 November 2026, 3 days before the reading.
The App Store goes further and lets anyone open a version history. For FxPro cTrader it lists 25 versions between 23 December 2025 and 4 November 2026, a median of 12 days between one version and the next and a longest gap of 34 days.
The public Google Play page shows the current version and its date only, so no Play history is reported. A version number is the plain way to say which build a statement is about, which is why every figure on this site carries the day it was read.
What the phone needs
FxPro: Trading & Investing on Google Play: Android 10 or later (API 29), 10M+ downloads, Rated for 3+, FxPro Global: Trading Broker on Google Play: Android 10 or later (API 29), 100K+ downloads, Rated for 18+, FxPro cTrader on Google Play: Android 10 or later (API 29), 100K+ downloads, Rated for 3+, FxPro cTrader on the App Store: 247.4 MB, Requires iOS 15.0 or later, English and 22 more, age rating 16+, MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading on Google Play: Android 7.0 or later (API 24), 10M+ downloads, Rated for 3+, MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks on Google Play: Android 6.0 or later (API 23), 50M+ downloads, Rated for 3+, MetaTrader 4 on the App Store: 21.8 MB, Requires iOS 13.0 or later, English and 21 more, age rating 4+, MetaTrader 5 on the App Store: 36.7 MB, Requires iOS 15.0 or later, English and 22 more, age rating 4+, cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on Google Play: Android 10 or later (API 29), 1M+ downloads, Rated for 3+ and cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on the App Store: 252.1 MB, Requires iOS 15.0 or later, English and 22 more, age rating 16+. The Play web pages read here do not show a download size, so this site has no size for the Play listings and does not estimate one. The system line is the developer's statement of the oldest version of the phone's software the build runs on; the pages do not say how the app behaves on older software, and a figure here is a requirement, not a promise that the app will run well.

These are the developers' own words, quoted as printed. Where two descriptions differ, the site notes the difference once, plainly, and does not try to settle which one is right; a reader can compare them by pressing Ctrl+F on each store page.
What the descriptions list as features

A feature line on a store page says what the developer chose to promote. It is not a measurement, and a feature that is not listed is not proof that the app lacks it. Whether a feature is available to a client of a given broker in Kenya depends on the account and is shown only after login.
Where the listings differ
The age or content label is not the same on every page: Rated for 3+: FxPro: Trading & Investing (Google Play), FxPro cTrader (Google Play), MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play), MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) and cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play); Rated for 18+: FxPro Global: Trading Broker (Google Play); App Store 16+: FxPro cTrader (App Store) and cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store); App Store 4+: MetaTrader 4 (App Store) and MetaTrader 5 (App Store). FxPro Global: Trading Broker (Google Play) shows no star rating in this country view, while the other Play pages read here do. Versions on the day of reading: 4.104.0: FxPro: Trading & Investing (Google Play) and FxPro Global: Trading Broker (Google Play); 5.11.130: FxPro cTrader (Google Play) and FxPro cTrader (App Store); 400.1493: MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play); 500.6260: MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play); 4.0.1478: MetaTrader 4 (App Store); 5.0.6290: MetaTrader 5 (App Store); 5.11.140: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play); 5.11.150: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store).
These are differences between pages as they were shown on the day of reading. Each is stated once; none is explained on the pages, and this site does not offer an explanation the pages do not give.
The update dates, oldest first
28 August 2026: MetaTrader 4 (App Store), version 4.0.1478; 8 October 2026: MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play), version 500.6260; 27 October 2026: MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play), version 400.1493; 2 November 2026: MetaTrader 5 (App Store), version 5.0.6290; 2 November 2026: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play), version 5.11.140; 3 November 2026: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store), version 5.11.150; 4 November 2026: FxPro cTrader (Google Play), version 5.11.130; 4 November 2026: FxPro cTrader (App Store), version 5.11.130; 5 November 2026: FxPro: Trading & Investing (Google Play), version 4.104.0; 5 November 2026: FxPro Global: Trading Broker (Google Play), version 4.104.0.
The oldest of these dates is 70 days before the reading and the newest 1 day before it. A page that was updated long ago is not necessarily neglected and one updated yesterday is not necessarily better; the date is the only thing the page states.
What the data declarations show
Both stores ask the developer to declare what the app does with data and print the answer on the public page. The Google Play block of FxPro: Trading & Investing says: “This app may share these data types with third parties”; “This app may collect these data types”; “Data is encrypted in transit”; “You can request that data be deleted”. The Google Play block of FxPro Global: Trading Broker says: “No data shared with third parties”; “No data collected”; “Data is encrypted in transit”; “You can request that data be deleted”. The App Store privacy label of MetaTrader 4 lists data linked to you: Contact Info, User Content, Identifiers; data not linked to you: Usage Data, Diagnostics. The App Store privacy label of MetaTrader 5 lists data linked to you: Financial Info, Contact Info, User Content, Identifiers; data not linked to you: Usage Data, Diagnostics. These are declarations by the developer. Google's own block says so: “The developer provided this information and may update it over time.” They are quoted on the data page and left for the reader to weigh.
What could not be read, and why it matters
Three ordinary pages of fxpro.com (the front page, the FAQ and the About page) answered the server this site reads from with HTTP 403 when they were tried on 6 November 2026, and no further page of that host was asked for. The broker's fee and funding pages are therefore not read here, and no cost is quoted anywhere on this site. None of the descriptions read mentions M-Pesa or mobile money, so this site has nothing to report about funding in that form; a reader who wants it has to ask the broker for the funding methods open to residents of Kenya.
For a reader in Kenya the practical consequence is simple: the store page tells you what is being installed, and the account documents, which only the broker can show, tell you what the account costs in Kenyan shillings. The two should be read together and in that order.
What a reader can check without logging in
Everything above can be repeated by anyone, on a phone or a laptop, in a few minutes and without an account. Open the store page from a link you trust, read the developer name under the title, read the rating together with the number of ratings, read the date of the last update, open the data block and compare what you see with the date on this page. If the store now shows a newer version or a different rating, that is not an error here; it is the date doing its work.
What this site does not say
It does not say which app is better, because the pages contain nothing from which that could be known. It does not rank, score or recommend. It does not say that a rating is true: the Google Play page itself carries the label “Ratings and reviews are verified” and this site repeats the label without testing it. It does not say that an app is safe or unsafe to install, because a declaration is not an audit. And it gives no investment advice: contracts for difference are complex instruments, they are traded on margin and money can be lost quickly.
An app listing is not an account
What these pages read is the store's side: the listing. Opening a live account is a separate step with the broker, with identity checks and rules that sit outside any app. Read the broker page before you decide, and do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
